The Tempest Long Range cameras allow for quick deployment in any search situation. With basic training, these easy-to-use search cameras can assist in locating a missing person, or suspects on the run or in hiding. Our search cameras can reach out 2296 to 3281 feet. These cameras are particularly suitable for Search and Rescue operations in large open fields such as the sea, mountain, countryside, desert, and even suburban neighborhoods.
The Tempest Long Range Thermal Imaging cameras are compact and lightweight. Display size options are Large 3.5” or 4” screens for detailed visibility. For those that want to have this search camera in another color, we offer it in red or dark grey. With the detection range being as low as -40°F to as high as +2,100°F, operations in extreme temperatures is not a concern. In addition to the wide temperature detection ranges, these search cameras can operate for up to 8 hours on two fully charged batteries. These decision-making cameras also have the optional feature of being able to wirelessly transmit the screen to a cell phone or tablet with WiFi technology.
